The era of Rapid DNA is upon us. While some may resist or overlook its significance, the truth remains: every government will eventually adopt this technology.

​

Rapid DNA is a fast and easy-to-use technology that generates reliable lab-quality forensic DNA profiles in as little as 90 minutes. The aim of this event is to introduce Rapid DNA to Philippine government agencies for use in law enforcement investigations, disaster victim identification (DVI), immigration/border control to combat human trafficking, terrorism investigations, and for military applications such as intelligence missions that require quick DNA evidence collection.

Additionally, this event seeks to raise awareness about the absence of a national criminal DNA database law in the Philippines and the importance of enacting the pending legislation in Congress
